Here's a delicious BBQ Grilled Chicken recipe to impress your grilling buddy:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
- In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using) to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it is evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is cooked through. Baste the chicken with additional marinade during grilling for extra flavour.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the Honey BBQ Grilled Chicken with your favourite sides, such as grilled vegetables, side of rice and coleslaw, or corn on the cob.
Enjoy your tasty BBQ chicken!
